Omar Rekik is now a free agent after his contract with Arsenal was terminated by mutual agreement.
According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, the defender is no more an Arsenal player.
He added that Rekik requested to leave Mikel Arteta’s side this summer.
In a tweet on X on Saturday, Romano said:”Omar Rekik, no longer an Arsenal player as contract was terminated on mutual agreement yesterday.
“Rekik now available as free agent after his specific request to leave and try new chapter.”
