Sunshine Stars have revealed the reason behind their decision to settle for the Otunba Dipo Dina, Stadium as their home ground for the 2024-25 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
Chairman of the club, Bamidele Ologunloluwa said the ongoing renovation and upgrading work at the Ondo State Sports Complex, Akure necessitated their decision.
Ologunloluwa appealed to the club’s supporters to keep supporting the team.
He assured that the renovation work will be sped up for a quick return of the team
“I can assure our fans that Sunshine Stars will make them happy with good results in this 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League season,” He told Sunshine Stars media.
“We are working to present not just any team but a solid squad that will have capacity to compete for the League.”
Sunshine Stars will host Bayelsa United in their opening fixture this weekend.
