Football intermediary George Gardi has revealed how he brokered Victor Osimhen’s loan transfer to Napoli.
Osimhen was expected to join either Chelsea or Al-Ahli on transfer deadline day but the move collapsed.
Galatasaray however moved in to sign the Nigeria international on a season-long loan deal.
The 25-year-old completed the move to the Turkish Super Lig champions on Wednesday.
“It was madness just to think about it,” Gardi told Tuttomercatoweb.
“It all took under 48 hours. I arrived in Naples to pick up Victor and his family with the President’s private jet and then we left again. There was a huge crowd at the airport, such incredible enthusiasm from the fans.”
