Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca, has dropped Cole Palmer and two other players from his squad for the next stage of the UEFA Conference League.
Palmer will not feature for the Blues due to “load management”.
Wesley Fofana and Romeo Lavia have also been left out by Maresca.
Chelsea’s season could go on until July 2025, as they will be playing in the expanded Club World Cup.
Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, wrote on X today: “Chelsea confirm squad for next stage of Conference League.
“Wesley Fofana, Cole Palmer and also Romeo Lavia have been left out.
“Decision taken due to load management as Chelsea season could go on until July 2025 with Club’s World Cup too.”
