Spain coach, Luis de la Fuente, has said that both Rodri and Dani Carvajal deserve to win the Ballon d’Or this year.
The duo are two of six Spain players on the list of 30 footballers shortlisted for the 2024 Ballon d’Or on Wednesday.
They won this year’s European Championship title with a 2-1 victory over England in Berlin in July.
However, De la Fuente believes both players have done more than enough to win the Ballon d’Or.
“Both Rodri and Dani Carvajal have without doubt earned the right,” De la Fuente told the Guardian.
“If after everything they have done, they are not considered, it would be a huge injustice. They have done more than enough. Not just now, but everything
