    AFCON 2025Q: Boniface leads Super Eagles attack, Nwabali, Ndidi start

    Super Eagles head coach, Augustine Eguavoen has opted for a 3-4-3 formation for his side’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, qualifying fixture against the Cheetahs of Benin Republic.

    Chippa United goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali will be between the sticks.

    Captain William Troost-Ekong, Semi Ajayi and Calvin Bassey will feature as centre-backs.

    Nottingham Forest star, Ola Aina and Bruno Onyemaechi will play as the two wing-backs.




    Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi will operate from the midfield.

    Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface will lead the attack and will be supported by Ademola Lookman and Samuel Chukwueze.
