    Osimhen surpasses Aiyegbeni, now third on Super Eagles’ all-time goalscorers’ list [Top 10]

    Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen is now third on the list of Nigeria’s all-time top scorers after surpassing Yakubu Aiyegbeni.

    Osimhen, who is on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, scored a goal as the Super Eagles defeated Benin Republic 3-0 in their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, qualifying clash on Saturday evening in Uyo.

    His teammate Ademola Lookman scored a brace.

    Osimhen now has 22 goals for the Super Eagles and remains behind Rashidi Yekini and Segun Odegbami.

    Rashidi Yekini – 37 goals

    Segun Odegbami – 23 goals

    Victor Osimhen – 22 goals

    Yakubu Aiyegbeni – 21 goals

    Ikechukwu Uche – 19 goals

    Obafemi Martins – 18 goals

    Sunday Oyarekhu – 17 goals

    Samson Siasia – 16 goals

    Odion Jude Ighalo – 16 Goals

    Ahmed Musa – 16 goals
