Germany head coach, Julian Nagelsmann, has tipped Jamal Musiala and Florian Wirtz to win the Ballon d’Or one day.
Both Musiala and Wirtz have become the creative forces in Nagelsmann’s new-look team.
And the manager has said they have the potential to be named among the best in future.
“Both Musiala and Florian Wirtz could win the Ballon d’Or one day”.
“They have the potential to make it happen,” Nagelsmann said after they beat Hungary 6-0 on Saturday.
Both Wirtz and Musiala scored a goal each in the game, while the latter also grabbed three assists.
France Football, the organizers of the Ballon d’Or, this week released a 30-man shortlist of nominees, with only Wirtz making the cut.
