Chinonso Ogbonna is on the verge of leaving Edel FC, DAILY POST reports.
According to reports, Ogbonna is attracting interest from Nigeria National League side, Abia Comets.
Ogbonna was in impressive form for Edel FC in the NNL last season.
The highly-rated defender is expected to finalise his move before the commencement of the new season.
The date for the start of the 2024-25 NNL season will be announced after the Annual General meeting this month.
DAILY POST recalled that Abia Comets sacked 21 players after the completion of last season.
