Arsenal legend, Paul Merson, has said the team’s chances of winning the Premier League title this season, will be determined by the results of their next two fixtures.
Mikel Arteta’s men will face Tottenham Hotspur and champions Manchester City in back-to-back away games after the international break.
Merson, speaking to Sky Sports, said the Gunners must get at least four points from the two matches.
He said: “Arsenal’s Premier League season all comes down to the next two games against Tottenham and Man City.
“They need four points. It’s as simple as that.
“If they get anything less, then you start to worry because you’re playing catch-up against a machine in Man City.”
Arsenal is currently third on the table with seven points, two less than City and Liverpool.
