The commissioner expressed gratitude to the family for their cooperation during the investigation and delivered the IGP’s assurance that justice will be served, according to a statement by the spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Ejire Adeyemi Toun, in Ilorin on Tuesday.

The IGP had directed the Federal Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) to take over the investigation, with all officers involved being transferred to Abuja, Federal capital territory for a thorough and impartial inquiry.
