The Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, has announced a new kick-off time for the matchday two fixture involving Rivers United and Heartland.
The match which was scheduled for the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium on Sunday September 15 has been moved to 3:00 pm.
The new kick-off time was confirmed in a statement by Rivers United on their X handle.
The move, according to the NPFL, was to accommodate the live coverage of the game.
“Our upcoming Nigeria Premier Football League matchday two tie against Heartland FC at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium on Sunday, September 15 has been given a new kick-off time, due to live TV transmission in Nigeria,” the club posted on X.
Rivers United played out a goalless draw against Bendel Insurance in their opening fixture in Benin.
