Chelsea on Friday confirmed that their defender David Datro Fofana has left the club to join Göztepe SK on loan until June 2025.
The Premier League west London club disclosed this in a statement on their website on Friday.
“Chelsea forward David Fofana has completed a season-long loan move to Turkish side Goztepe SK,” Chelsea’s statement partly read.
Fofana’s loan deal also includes re-call clause for January.
The 23-year-old is not in Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca’s plan for this season.
This is coming ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League tie with Bournemouth on Saturday night.
