In a recent development, details have surfaced surrounding the arrest of popular Abia-based on-air personality Mr Chigozie Anumudu, widely known as MC Manosky, who stands accused of defiling a 15-year-old boy.

The 37-year-old radio presenter was apprehended by officers from the Abia State Police Command on December 31, 2023.

The arrest followed a formal complaint lodged at the Eastern Ngwa Police station by the victim’s father, whose identity remains confidential.

The victim, providing a vivid account of the incident, claimed that MC Manosky lured him to a location near Addrexx Hotel in Aba, offering him bread, which he refused.

In response, the on-air personality allegedly resorted to violence, slapping the teenager before proceeding with the assault.

The victim later recounted waking up Sunday morning with pain in his anus.

Upon confronting MC Manosky about the incident, the radio presenter reportedly issued threats, warning the young boy of dire consequences if he disclosed the assault.

According to ABN TV, MC Manosky, operating as a freelance journalist in Aba and not affiliated with any media organization, is presently under detention at the Ngwa Police Station.

Confirming the arrest, the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) announced that investigations are underway.

The PPRO stated, “Abia State Police Command received a report on January 1, 2024, of an alleged incident of unlawful carnal knowledge by Mr. Anumudu Chigozie. Discreet investigation is ongoing, and the matter will be charged to court upon its conclusion.”

The specific details surrounding the arrest and the nature of the violation were not disclosed by the police.
