    Abiodun, Ex-Governors to Attend Retired Civil Officers’ Congress In Ogun

    Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun; former governors, Senator Otunba Gbenga Daniel and Senator Ibikunle Amosun; and several other dignitaries are expected to grace the maiden Triennial Congress and official launch of the Retired Civil Service Administrative Officers Forum, scheduled to hold in Abeokuta on Monday, May 19, 2025.

    The event, which will bring together retired and serving top civil servants, is set to take place at the Hall of the Academic Staff Union of Secondary Schools, Ogun State, Leme, Abiola Way, Abeokuta, beginning at 11:00am.

    In a statement issued by the Publicity Secretary of the Congress, the forum described the event as a momentous occasion to foster unity and continuity among retired administrative officers, as well as celebrate their contributions to the civil service.

    According to the statement, Ogun State Head of Service, Mr. Kehinde Onasanya, will serve as the Chief Host, while Alhaji Sefiu Rasheed will act as the Host. The Member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Gboyega Isiaka, is billed to serve as the Chief Launcher.

    Governor Abiodun is expected to attend as the Grand Chief of Honour, alongside other prominent figures including former Heads of Service, serving Administrative Officer Permanent Secretaries, Directors of Administration and Supplies, and representatives of trade unions.

    Chairman of the Forum’s Board of Trustees, Elder Sola Adeyemi, is also expected to play a key role at the congress, which will feature the election of new officers to pilot the affairs of the association for the next three years.

    The forum extended its invitation to all members, guests, and well-wishers to join in the celebration and support the growth of the association.
