In commemoration of Ogun State’s 48th anniversary, Governor Dapo Abiodun has reiterated his administration’s unwavering dedication to state development and citizen well-being.
Despite challenges, he acknowledged Ogun’s ascent as one of Nigeria’s most prosperous states, crediting the efforts of successive administrations.
Commending his predecessors for laying the foundation of the state’s success, Prince Abiodun also praised the people of Ogun for maintaining peaceful coexistence for nearly five decades. He urged them to sustain this unity for the state’s continued progress.
Under the ‘Building Our Future Together’ mantra, encapsulated in ISEYA, the governor assured continued upward growth trajectory.
In a statement, he expressed warm congratulations to the people of Ogun State, highlighting the significant strides made since its creation in 1976.
“As your Governor, I remain committed to your well-being, prioritising infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, and job creation. While proud of our achievements, I recognize there’s more to be done. I pledge to address challenges and ensure every citizen enjoys the fruits of our collective efforts.
“On this occasion, let’s reflect on the values that unite us. Embrace unity, support, and collaboration for a future filled with prosperity, opportunities, and happiness. Congratulations to everyone on this significant anniversary.
“Let’s celebrate our achievements, honour our past leaders, and rededicate ourselves to Ogun State’s progress and development.”
