    Actress Shan George Cries Out As Fraudsters Drain N3.6million From Account

    Nigerian actress Shan George is reeling from a devastating blow after falling victim to fraudsters who managed to siphon off a staggering N3.6 million from her Zenith Bank account.

    The actress, took to social media, particularly Instagram, to share her harrowing experience and appeal for urgent assistance.

    In a distressing video posted on her Instagram account, George tearfully recounted the ordeal, calling on authorities such as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), the Nigerian police, and Zenith Bank to intervene swiftly.

    With palpable anguish, she revealed how her account was emptied by an individual identified as Cecilia Chiagoziem Okoro, who transferred the funds to an Opay account.

    “I need help cos I’m dy!ng. This person has just cleared my account,” she pleaded in the video. “Pls my pple, everyone pls help. Pls Zenith Bank, Reverse it. I can’t access my app. I’m De@D.”

    The gravity of the situation was evident in her words as she expressed her desperation for assistance, stating, “I don’t have any kobo anywhere again, what will I eat? I no fit beg, I beg una, make una help me.”

    The incident, which occurred on the 3rd of May, left George in a dire financial predicament, highlighting the vulnerability of individuals to cybercrime in Nigeria.

    Despite her prominence as a public figure, she found herself at the mercy of unscrupulous perpetrators who exploited her trust and financial security.
