The PDP Governorship Candidate in Ogun State, Hon. Ladi Adebutu on Tuesday led his campaign trail to the 15 wards in Ijebu East Local Government in Ogun State.
During the visit to each ward of the Local Government, two 500KVA transformers were donated to Itele Community in Ijebu East and the Trailer Park along Ijebu Ode -Benin Expressway in fulfilment of his promise to the people.
Adebutu while addressing the people of Itele, Orita J4, Ijebu Ife and other communities expressed his deep appreciation for the warm reception the campaign trail received from the people.
According to the Media Consultant to Ladi Adebutu Democratic Organisation, Mr Afolabi Orekoya, Adebutu was reported to have assured the electorates in Ijebu East of good governance, quality education adequate security infrastructural development, economic growth, youth employment and peaceful coexistence of the people.
He mentioned that there is no cause for nursing any fear on his candidacy, claiming that the Federal Capital Territory High Court judgement of Monday has not changed anything. He further explained that the court only dismissed a suit filed by him (Adebutu) and did not rule on whether anybody is the candidate of the party in Ogun for PDP.
During the campaign, Adebutu urged the people to vote massively for PDP in all the general elections from the Presidency to the House of Assembly members in Ogun State.
The Community leaders took turn to express their deep appreciation to the kind gesture of Hon. Adebutu promising to mobilize all their People to vote PDP in the February 16th and March 2nd elections.
All the candidates of the party from Senate to the House of Assembly member representing Ijebu East State Constituency were introduced to the people amidst encomiums.
