The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Governorship Candidate in 2023 Elections in  Ogun State, Oladipupo  Adebutu  has received over 5000 members of  African Democratic Congress, ADC from Yewa South Local Government into the main opposition party in the state.

Receiving the former ADC Members led by the Yewa South candidate for the Ogun state House of Assembly, Rotimi Ogundele popularly known as “Political Solution, Adebutu described the coming on board of Ogundele and his supporters as a blessing, important and timely ahead of the 2027 politics.

Adebutu recalled several empowerments that he had embarked upon such as the  distribution of transformers to the people and donation of  1000 vehicles from his personal pocket.

He however berated  those he said are claiming and  bragging In the region of the distribution of tricycles which he said were  federal government sponsored intervention to the people

According to him ” Rotimi, leading his teeming supporters to decamp to PDP, is very timely, important and fruitful

“I called your attention to something that APC brags about In Ogun West as absolutely nothing, what I am saying now , I want it to be uploaded on social media, they should hear and know the truth.

“A proverb says , one  eyed man in the midst of the blind, will surely be bragging,  and all the bragging is nothing.

“Because in Ogun East, we have had the likes of Buruji Kasamu, who gave out vehicles to people freely, but with nothing to show for it.

“And even the likes of Ladi Adebutu who distributed over 500 transformers and  it got to a time that people praised that these set of people have tried, even distributed cars of over 1000 and have impacted many lives  so well with their own personal money, not even government financed. And  some people with questionable starting point are here distributing government owned tricycles and  bragging about it”. He concluded.

Earlier, while presenting the thousands of the newly  decamped ADC members to Adebutu,

Ogundele described Adebutu  as the strength and symbol of PDP in Ogun state and assured him of his group’s unflinching supports to take over the mantle of governance of Ogun state in 2027

“Honourable Oladipupo Olatunde Adebutu is the pillar, symbol, strength of PDP in Ogun state.

” With 256 polling boots under my constituency, I am assured that  I will  deliver them  for Honourable ladi Adebutu. As someone who has been in the political terrain for 27 years. I am  optimistic that with honourable Ladi Adebutu as a fearless figure , I will use his political strength to get more support for Lado in the 2027 election.” Honourable Rotimi added .

Some of the notable  leaders of ADC members who decamped to PDP included , Hon. (Chief) S.O. Ayeni, Chief Odubiyi,Hon. Sesan Idowu Afin, Jamiu Adebisi, Wasiu Olukade (Eko), Chief Asoko, Akanni Oladimeji, Comrade Luqman Adewunmi, Baba Shali, among others.

The event also  witnessed the presence of some PDP stalwarts in the state including the State Chairman of the Party, Sikirulahi Ogundele represented by the Deputy Chairman – Hon. Olukayode Samson Bamgbose (Imisi),

PDP Secretary- Omo’ba Dr. Sunday Adekunle Solarin, Ogun West Senatorial Chairman – Elder Sunday Olusola Soledolu,PDP PRO- Asiwaju Akinloye Bankole, Yewa South PDP Chairman- Hon. Idowu Falade, Mr. Afolabi Micheal Orekoya,  Alhaji Sunmola Adewale and  Alhaji Aliu fagbohun.
