In a passionate call to action, the Adekunle Soyombo Foundation (ASF) is urging Nigerians to go beyond mere lip service and invest wholeheartedly in the development of education across the country.
According to Soyombo, the esteemed chairman and founder of this non-profit, non-governmental charity organization, this commitment to education holds the key to eradicating poverty and insecurity in Nigeria.
The message was delivered during a heartfelt moment as Mr. Soyombo personally donated educational materials to students across four local governments in Ogun State.
This educational support initiative, aptly named the “ASF Back to School Programme,” involved the distribution of 1,000 bags containing essential items such as large notebooks, sandals, mathematical sets, and various educational materials to primary and secondary schools in Odeda, Obafemi-Owode, Abeokuta North, and Abeokuta South local government areas of the state.
Soyombo emphasized that a fully developed education system would positively impact the youth, addressing their needs while contributing to improved security, a skilled workforce, and robust labor prospects.
He noted that governments at all levels have long paid lip service to quality education and called upon private individuals and organizations to collaborate with the government to elevate the state of education in Nigeria.
The ASF’s dedication to this cause is a promising step towards a brighter future for education in the nation.
