Remo Stars head coach, Daniel Ogunmodede has been appointed one of the assistants to the Super Eagles interim head coach, Austine Eguavoen for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda.
Eguavoen will take charge of the Super Eagles for the two games.
Ogunmodede is one of the popular coaches in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
The young tactician has guided Remo Stars to second place finish in the last two seasons.
He signed a new three-year contract with the Sky Blue Stars last month.
The Super Eagles will host neighbours Benin Republic at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Saturday.
They will face Rwanda at the Amahoro Stadium, Kigali next week Tuesday.
