Suspended local government Vice Chairman, of Ogun water side local government Otuyiga Tajudeen on Wednesday said the governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun melted cruelty to him over his resolve to work in favour of the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Ogun state, Prince Dapo Abiodun.
The Vice-chairman Tajudeen stated this during an interview session with journalists in Abeokuta where he recounted his ideals and lost since crisis hit the party over the conduct primaries in the party.
Tajudeen recounted that the going was good between himself and the governor until the governor parted ways with parties flag bearer claiming that his anointed candidate has been robbed of his mandate.
He, however, explained that he began to suffer the governor’s torture when the legislative arm of the local government was allegedly asked to impeach him on the order of the governor without no tangle reason.
The suspend vice chairman further said that his house among other properties was rendered as a sacrifice when it was burnt down in 2011 by a set of unknown political thugs but even at that he is not deterred but remained committed to the party’s cause.
Tajudeen who is popularly called Daidone however call on the people of Ogun state to vote the APC governorship candidate so as to secure freedom for the state from the hands of those he referred to as dictators.
His words, “I have suffered a lot in the hand of the governor before I was asked to be impeached for no just cause, I have always been loyal to the governor but all this started immediately I refused to support the governor’s anointed governorship candidate Hon Abdulkabir Akinlade.
“Immediately, the legislative arm of the local government impeached me on the order of the governor, My house and some other properties worth millions of naira was burnt down by some unknown political thugs.
“For me, supporting Prince Dapo Abiodun is a no going back issue despite all they have done, I am still not going back and just like I have been doing, I will continue to support APC and it candidate.
“To this end, I want to appeal to the good people of Ogun state to please ensure that they vote APC come Saturday 9th so as to set Ogun free from the hands of the dictator.
“Although I have bought campaign cars and busses for Prince Dapo Abiodun but I will not relent, I will continue until we achieve success. “
