    Amotekun Commences Screening for 2024 Recruitment Of 700 Personnel

    The Ogun State Security Network, popularly known as the Amotekun Corps, has announced the commencement of its screening exercise for the recruitment of 700 additional personnel.

    A statement from the Corps Commander and issued by T. Bakare stated that the  screening, aimed at bolstering the state’s safety and security framework, will run from Monday, November 25, to Sunday, December 8, 2024, across four designated centers in Ogun State.

     

    Bakare explainer that th Screening exercise was donated at the various  screening centers across the state.

    He said  for Ijebu Center, it would take place at Ijebu-Ode Local Government Secretariat, Ijebu-Ode, from November 25 to 27.

    According to him, the local governments covered include Ijebu-Ode, Ijebu North, Ijebu East, Ogun Waterside, Ijebu North East, Odogbolu, Sagamu, Remo North, and Ikenne.

    For Ayetoro Center, he said , the exercise would take place at Yewa North Local Government Secretariat, from November 28 to 30, for applicants from Yewa North, Imeko Afon, and Abeokuta North.

    For Ilaro Center, it would take place at  Yewa South Local Government Secretariat, from December 2 to 4, covering Yewa South, Ipokia, Ado-Odo/Ota, and Ifo.

    For Abeokuta Center,  it would take place at Abeokuta South Local Government Secretariat, Ake-Abeokuta, from December 5 to 7, for applicants from Abeokuta South, Odeda, Ewekoro, and Obafemi Owode.

    Bakare added that applicants are advised to check their names at the designated centers from today and ensure punctuality on their respective screening dates. The exercise will commence daily at 8:00 a.m.

    On the required documents, he advised candidates to present proof of identity and all necessary documentation submitted during their application to facilitate a seamless process.

    For further inquiries, applicants can contact the Ogun State Security Network (Amotekun Corps) State Command Headquarters at the Old Secretariat, Off IBB Boulevard, Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta.

    Bakare reiterated the importance of this exercise in strengthening community security, urging applicants to comply with all guidelines to ensure a smooth recruitment process.
