The Osun State Chairman of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, Tosin Odeyemi says both the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, and the main opposition, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, have failed the country.

In a statement made available for newsmen in Osogbo on Wednesday, Odeyemi noted that the best of the two major political parties in the country has been seen, hence, the need to try a new competent hand that can salvage the country from the present predicament it faces.

He stressed it is time Nigeria embraced a New political dawn, adding that the present economic impasse would have been avoided if the leaders were truthful and bold enough to confront cabals holding the country down.

He further stated that as the 2027 electioneering period gradually gathers momentum, Nigerians should look in the direction of electing credible leaders.

“Nigeria needs a man of integrity who can take bold transformative decisions without fear of favor no matter whose ox is gored.

“We have tried the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and now All Progressives Congress (APC). We have seen their best which landed us where we are; hunger everywhere,” he added.
