The Asorodayo Youth Heritage Organization has expressed deep sorrow over the sudden passing of Hon. Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga,(ijaya) who until her demise,served as the Deputy Chief Whip of the House, representing the lkene/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency of Ogun State .
In a statement signed by its National Secretary, Hon. Bolanle Solarin, the organization conveyed its condolences to the Onanuga family and the people of Remo Federal Constituency, describing her death as a “rude shock.”
“With a heavy heart but in total submission to the will of Almighty God, the Asorodayo Youth Heritage Organization, led by Hon. (Dr) Babatunde Olokun, MHR (fmr), condoles with the family of Hon. (Otunba) Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga May Almighty God grant the good people of Remo Federal Constituency, her family, friends, and well-wishers the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. May her soul rest in perfect peace,” the statement read.
Hon. Onanuga, fondly remembered for her impactful representation and contributions to her constituency, was a respected political figure whose sudden demise has left her community in mourning.
As tributes pour in, many have highlighted her dedication to public service and her commitment to improving the lives of her constituents.
Further details about her funeral arrangements are yet to be announced by the family.
