The Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions, NASU and the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities, SSANU, have resolved to embark on an indefinite strike commencing Monday. Many travellers have been injured in an accident that occurred along Otamakun road in Ogbnomso, DAILY POST reports. It was gathered that the travellers were injured when thei bus coming from Lagos ran into the collapsed bridge at Osuru, along Otamokun road. The incident according to sources occurred Friday night. DAILY POST learnt that bus fell into the bridge during a downpour. The member representing Ibiono Ibom State constituency at the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Mr Moses Essien has raised the alarm over the deplorable state of the long abandoned Calabar/Itu highway.
