A least eighty-three cases of circulating variant poliovirus type 2 (cVPV2) have been recorded in 14 states this year, the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), has disclosed. The Executive Director of the NPHCDA, Dr Muyi Aina, made the revelation in Abuja during the 2024 World Polio Day commemoration.
