Stanley Nwabali has been nominated for the 2024 CAF Goalkeeper of the Year award, DAILY POST reports. Nwabali will battle nine other top goalkeepers for the award. CAF released the nominees for the award on Thursday. The Chippa United shot stopper had an impressive outing for the Super Eagles at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations earlier in the year. Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu has donated N40 million as well as food items to victims of tanker explosion in Majiya village of Jigawa State. The House of Representatives on Thursday urged the Federal Government to direct the Federal Ministry of Power, the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, NERC, and distribution companies to immediately stop further billing or disconnection of electricity supply to public tertiary institutions in Nigeria using the current tariff.
