Stanley Nwabali has been nominated for the 2024 CAF Goalkeeper of the Year award, DAILY POST reports. Nwabali will battle nine other top goalkeepers for the award. CAF released the nominees for the award on Thursday. The Chippa United shot stopper had an impressive outing for the Super Eagles at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations earlier in the year. The 28-year-old is currently one of the highly rated goalkeepers in the South African League. The 2024 CAF Awards will hold in Marrakech, Morocco, on December 16. The House of Representatives on Thursday urged the Federal Government to direct the Federal Ministry of Power, the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, NERC, and distribution companies to immediately stop further billing or disconnection of electricity supply to public tertiary institutions in Nigeria using the current tariff.
