A Federal High Court sitting in Kano has disqualified the chairman and members of the Kano State Independent Electoral Commission, KANSIEC, from conducting the scheduled local government elections in the state. The Supreme Court on Tuesday reserved judgment in a suit filed by sixteen (16) State governments challenging the constitutionality of the laws establishing the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, and others.
