The Nigerian Customs Service said it has generated N4.2 billion as revenue in the first nine months of 2024. The Comptroller General of NCS, Bashir Adeniyi disclosed this in a workshop held in Lagos on Saturday. The Nigerian government plans to impose a 5 percent tax on telecommunication, gaming and betting services in the country amid economic hardship. This was contained in the Economic Stabilisation Bills recently sent to the National Assembly by the Federal Government.
