The management of the University of Ibadan (UI) has declared that no death or injury was recorded in the fire incident that occurred at Queens Hall, one of its female hostels in the early hours of Thursday. The fire outbreak razed a section of Queens Hall around 1:30 a.m. in the wee hours of Thursday. The House of Representatives has called on the Federal government to urgently curb the rapidly escalating kidnapping and insurgency-related activities in Pankshin, Kanke and Kanam Local Government areas of Plateau state. The Zamfara State Government said the payment of N70,000 new minimum wage to civil servants in the state will commence in March, 2025.
