Bamiloye said it wasn’t easy for Adeboye to publicly apologise over his past preaching on tithing. Pastor Adeboye had admitted to making a mistake in his past message on tithing. Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has approved the construction of 12 blocks of smart classrooms in four schools across the state, as part of his administration’s drive to modernize the educational sector. The Minister of Finance, Wale Edun, has announced that the Nigerian government has begun the Naira-for-crude sale deal with Dangote Refinery from October 1, 2024. Parents of a Primary 2 pupil, Ojiyovwin Salvation, are lamenting the untimely death of their son at Eghereka Primary School, Ewu town in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State. Salvation met his untimely death yesterday when the block of six classrooms that collapsed fell on him and injured three others. According to reports, the dilapidated building collapsed under the heavy rain. The Defence Headquarters said that troops have denied oil thieves the estimated sum of N793,257,250 within one week. A statement by Director, Defence Media Operations, Major General Edward Buba, said that troops also arrested 18 perpetrators of oil theft and rescued 96 kidnapped hostages. According to the statement, during the week under review, troops neutralised 118, arrested 97 persons, and eliminated more terrorist commanders and combatants on the battlefield through ongoing operations across the country.
