A gang of bandits have killed three persons including two friends in Matazu and Kankia Local Government Areas of Katsina State. A man identified as Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi, also known as Solo, was shot dead by the gunmen in Kankia on Saturday night. The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has broken silence over the payment of an interim dividend of N123 billion to the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) for the month of June 2023 The NNPCL said it was to consolidate its post Petroleum Industry Act (PIA) 2021 status as an income-generating company.
