Fawaz Adebisi The  principal of  Government Day Secondary School, Saminaka in Lapai Local Government Area of Niger State, Ndatsu Yahaya has been demoted to a classroom teacher for allegedly embezzling the WAECand NECO fees of 53 pupils . Tragedy struck at Nkwelle Ezunaka in Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State when a couple, their two children and one other died after inhaling generator fumes. The National Economic Council, on Thursday, dumped the National Social Register established by the Muhammadu Buhari’s administration for lack of integrity. An official of the West African Examination Council, Olufemi Olaleye, on Thursday, kept mum over the whereabouts of the copy of the council’s examination certificate of Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun. The House of Representatives on Thursday, rejected the proposed tariff increase by the National Electricity Regulatory Commission. The Department of State Service on Wednesday, berated the National Youth Service Corps over the allegation against Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State of certificate forgery. The Service however cleared the governor of the allegation, accusing NYSC of engaging in a “shoddy and hasty conclusion”.
