A 17-year-old girl has been arrested by operatives of the Osun State Police Command for allegedly luring her victim from Lagos to Osun through social media. The command’s spokesperson, SP Yemisi Opalola, disclosed this on Wednesday, in Osogbo, the Osun State capital. He said the victim was lured to Ikire in Irewole Local Government Area of the state by the teenager, on June 28. Men of Lagos State ha e dragged an 18-year-old motor boy, Azeez Balogun, on Thursday, before an Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court for allegedly beating up one of the bus passengers and removing two of his teeth over N100 change. Balogun, whose address was not stated, was charged with assault. The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Maj.-Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja, has declared that there would be no amnesty for terrorists and bandits in the country. Lagbaja described the amnesty programme for bandits and terrorists in Zamfara State and other parts of the country as a failed programme.
