A 40-year-old teacher, Sani Mohammed, has been sentenced by a Magistrates’ Court sitting in Jos, the Plateau State capital, to four months imprisonment for stealing two pairs of shoes from a shop. A 32-year-old first-class graduate of the University of Ibadan (UI), Opuofoni Freeborn Ebimotimi,has been lynched to death for allegedly stealing a loaf of bread in Bayelsa State . A 30-year-old hotel official, Jeffrey Ehizojie, has been sentenced to death by hanging by an Ikeja High Court for strangling his employer, Olusola Olusoga, and the hotel manager, Tunji Omikunle, to death. Delivering judgement on Tuesday, Justice Oyindamola Ogala held that the prosecution has proved its case beyond reasonable doubt. Justice Ogala found Ehizojie guilty of beating and strangling the Managing Director of Etsahol Hotel and Suites located at Ojodu-Berger, Lagos State. Fawaz Adebisi A farmer in Ogun state, Oluwadarasimi Adedapo, has revealed how she  is practising soilless farming to grow her vegetables,describing it as a way of reducing climate crisis. The officers of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a suspected bus thief, Ahmed Ayinde, during an attempt to sell a stolen bus in the Mushin area of the state. The command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the arrest in a statement issued on Tuesday. Israel Adeleke The Ogun State Police Command has offered a one-month amnesty for cultists in the state, providing them with an opportunity to renounce their involvement in various cult groups and surrender all arms and ammunition in their custody.
