A 16- year old maid,Fayemi Agbeloba  reportedly committed suicide after she was raped by her boss’ husband . The 34-year-suspect, Tosin Ajibode, was arraigned in Ibadan, Oyo State, for allegedly having unlawful sexual intercourse with the teenager. Jaiz Bank Plc, Nigeria’s pioneer non-interest bank ha appointed Mohammed Mustapha Bintube its new Chairman of the Board of Directors. The Centre for Gender Economics in Africa has advised women artisanal miners in Ogun State to regularly wear their safety kits when they are  at  site. The centre said this after a  training exercise, encourage them to wear safety gears, the helmet, the google and the jacket always when they are at a mining site. A Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Afe Babalola has advised that only retired judges should be allowed to preside over election petition tribunals. Babalola said this while speaking on Monday, in Ado-Ekiti at an event to mark his 60th anniversary at the bar. A 26-year-old man, Offor Okike had been sentenced to death by hanging for armed robbery. A High Court sitting in Abakaliki Judicial Division, Ebonyi State gave the sentence. Okike was convicted of robbing a resident of the state, Lydia Nwuba of her Toyota Corolla on April 2, 2019 at Elias Odili Street, off Adazienu junction, in Abakaliki. Tragedy struck on Friday when three Islamic pupils got burnt to death after a hut was gutted by fire in Yola, Adamawa State.
