A 56-year-old driver, Folarin Raufu,has been sentenced to life imprisonment for defiling his employer’s five-year- granddaughter. Justice Abiola Soladoye of an Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court, on Monday, held that prosecution successfully proved all the ingredients of defilement against Raufu. A nursing mother, Damilola Opeyemi has been remanded in Abolongo correctional centre in Oyo Town for stabbing her husband to death over dinner. A Magistrates’ Court sitting at Iyaganku in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, on Monday, gave the order on Monday.
