The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ola Olukoyede, on Friday, handed over 53 recovered vehicles and 180, 300 dollars to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, RCMP, on behalf of the victims of financial crimes in Canada. Mountain Top University has achieved an exceptional feat by receiving an excellent rating of over 80% from the National Universities Commission (NUC) for its degree programs. The NUC recently approved five additional academic programs for the university, including Nursing Science, Nutrition and Dietetics, Public Health, and Biomedical Technology. This brings the total number of NUC-accredited undergraduate programs at Mountain Top University to 32. An Ondo State Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Akure has remanded a pastor of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Oluwasegun Victor, in the correction centre for allegedly impregnating a minor. While arraigning the 31-year-old pastor on a one-count charge of unlawful sexual intercourse, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, informed the court that the suspect purportedly impregnated five other minors before the long arm of law caught up with him. The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has announced that it plans to supply the 650,000 barrels per day Lagos-based Dangote refinery additional 17 million barrels of Crude oil in the coming days. NNPCL said it will still supply the refinery a total of 17.6 million barrels of crude oil between September and October.
