An 18-year-old boy, Ibrahim Ali, has been sentenced to three months imprisonment for stealing a goat, valued at N20,000. An Area Court sitting in Jos, the Plateau State capital, gave the verdict on Monday. The police prosecutor, Inspector Monday Dabit, told the court that the case was reported at the Rantya police station on April 5 by one John Dung, who accused Ali of trespassing into his farm to steal the goat.
