President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the renaming of 15 of the country’s airports after some prominent Nigerians. The renaming of the airports was announced in a memo by the Federal Ministry of Aviation dated June 1, 2023, and signed by Mrs. Joke Olatunji for the Director of Airport Operations on Monday. The Federal Government has declared Wednesday June 28 and Thursday June 29, 2023 as public holidays in commemoration of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration. Troops of the Nigerian Army have arrested seven suspects during a raid of a baby factory in Adamawa State. The Army rescued 17 teenage girls as well as two babies. The suspects were apprehended during the operation on Friday. A 34-year-old suspected fake female security agent, Ogedegbe Dorcas has been arrested by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency in the Ajegunle Asa Dam Area of Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, with 30kg of cannabis The NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi, disclosed this in a statement issued on Sunday.
