The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has said that political parties taking part in the September 21 governorship election in Edo State are expected to sign a peace accord on the 21st of September. The Nigerian Government has said that revenue generated from the country’s non-oil exports grew by 6.26 percent to hit $2.7 billion in the first half of 2024. The executive director of the Nigerian Export Promotion Council, Nonye Ayeni disclosed this at a press briefing in Abuja on Thursday.
