A 23-year-old father of a baby ,Tunde Ijanusi has cried out over the mysterious disappearance of placenta at the Comprehensive Health Centre, Emure-IIe, Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State. A nurse, health assistant and security guard have been arrested in connection of the missing placenta. Spokesperson of the state police command, SP Olufunmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya who confirmed the incident, said the three suspects were arrested following report by the at the Emure-Ile Police Division. An angry mob, on Tuesday, has lynched a young man to death for breaking into a church and stealing musical instruments in Aba, Abia State. The Ogun State Chapter of the Freelance and Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria ,FIBAN, has constituted a caretaker committee to steer the association pending the conduct of a fresh election . The association at its congress  held on Tuesday, at the Association’s secretariat, Nawar-Ul-Deen in Abeokuta, sacked all the executive members and replaced them with caretaker committee following some crises in the association. Peace Adedigba A Magistrate Court, sitting in Makurdi, Benue  State,on Tuesday, remanded  23 persons in a correctional centre for allegedly causing crisis in Oju Local Government Area of Benue state The defendants were charged with  criminal conspiracy, culpable homicide, inciting public disturbance, mischief by fire, illegal possession of firearms and acts of terrorism. An Appeal Court in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, has set aside a bench warrant of arrest issued against the former Governor of the state, Rotimi Amaechi and two others. The others are the Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 elections, Tonye Cole and the Commissioner for Power in the Amaechi administration, Austine Wokocha. Fawaz Adebisi A Sexual Offence and Domestic Violence Court, in Ikeja has sentenced a man, Eniola Ibrahim, to life imprisonment for raping his girlfriend. The court said it was established that  Ibrahim raped his girlfriend in his residence at Lateef Dosumu street of the state, in June 2021.
