A multilateral agency, the International Trade Center has revealed that Nigeria has spent $3.47bn on importation of phones, generating sets, electrical transformers, and a host of other electrical equipment in 2022. No fewer than 2,322 lives and property worth N25.741 trillion have been rescued in fire outbreaks from 2015 till March 2023 by operatives of the Federal Fire Service The FFS disclosed this in a National Fire Statistics signed by the Spokesman of the Service, Mr Paul Abraham, on Sunday in Abuja.
