The Ondo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has called on the state government to reveal the whereabouts of the state governor, Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu, to the public. A 22-year-old man, Bashir Hassan and three teenagers have been arrested for allegedly sodomizing eight underaged boys in Jigawa state. The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has read riot acts to caterers engaged to feed Nigerian pilgrims in Madina against rendering poor services. The commission’s Head of Madina Feeding Committee, Bilqis Awah, issued the warning while answering questions from journalists shortly after inspecting the kitchen of one of the caterers, on Friday in Madina. The Nigeria Police Force on Friday in Lafia presented cheques valued at N61 million to families of officers who died on duty in Nasarawa State. A statement by Ramhan Nasel, the spokesman of the Nasarawa Command of the Force, said that Mohammed Baba, the commissioner, presented the cheques. A Federal High Court in Lagos has adjourned until 22 June, the money laundering trial of a former Speaker of the Lagos House of Assembly, Adeyemi Ikuforiji. The case which was fixed for continuation of trial on 1st and 2nd of June has now been adjourned by the court until 22 June. Ikuforiji is charged by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) alongside his former Personal Assistant, Oyebode Atoyebi.
