The National Industrial Court has ruled that the Federal Government’s position of ‘no work no pay” against the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) is legal. Justice Benedict Kanyip in his judgment, declared that ASUU was not entitled to salary during the period it embarked on strike. Tunji Abiodun Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has sacked the Chairman of the State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board and Executive Secretary, Sheikh Abdullahi Saleh Pakistan and Muhammad Abba Danbatta.
