The Executive Director in charge of Operations of Ojulowo Omoluabi Empire Holding Limited, Josphine Amadi, has responded to a former House of Representative member in Osun state, Rotimi Makinde, who threatened to sue the company. The National Bureau of Statistics has disclosed that the electricity distribution companies, otherwise called Discos has collected N232.32bn in Q4, 2022, bringing the total revenue raked in by the companies in six months to N479.65bn The NBS said Discos collected N247.33bn as revenue in the first quarter of 2023. Oyo State gov­ernment has described as fake the social media report that the new salary structure has been introduced . The Chief Press Secretary to Gov­ernor Seyi Makinde, Sulaimon Olanrewaju, said this on Wednesday. A 47-year-old acclaimed publisher/Editor-in-Chief of Daily Focus newspaper, Sanusi Inuwa has been sentenced by a Wuse Zone II Magistrates’ Court in Abuja, to three years in prison for N10.2 million fraud. The court imposed the sentence after finding Inuwa guilty of defrauding one Mr Hamza Galadima of the said amount.
