Ridwan Oliyide The Oyo State House of Assembly  has passed a bill into law to hinder the operation of motorcycles on the road beyond 10pm. World Bank Contractors on Wednesday, protested over their alleged unfavourable working conditions. The contractors under the aegis ; World Bank short-term contract employees protested following the allegation that they were asked to work more than their legally billable hours. According to them, the new development was claimed to be necessary so as to avoid hiring permanent employees eligible for full benefits. A lecturer in Physiology Department, of the Imo State University, Owerri, Desmond Izunwanne has been suspended indefinitely for allegedly slapping four female students. Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has sacked all commissioners and other members of  the State Executive Council, saying, the dissolution of the council was with immediate effect. The governor announced this  during the Weekly Executive Council meeting held on Wednesday. Obaseki expressed appreciation to the outgone members of the council for their service to the government and people of the state.
