A former Chairman of the Textile Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, Senator Walid Jibrin, has said that only 20 out if 175 textile industries are currently in operation in the country. Jibrin lamented that a few years ago, not less than 175 textile industries were in operation in Nigeria . Ogun State government has begun the moves to convert 2000 state-owned mass transit buses from use of petrol to use of Compressed Natural Gas. The Governor, Dapo Abiodun disclosed this on Thursday in an interview with newsmen after inspecting first successfully converted diesel and petrol bus at the state Secretariat Oke-mosan, Abeokuta, the state capital on Thursday. A man in Katsina State has reportedly divorced his 14-year-old housewife for allowing a male medical practitioner to attend to her while giving birth to his baby.
