Two suspected Boko Haram terrorists on Monday, were arrested for plotting to attack the residence of former Vice president, and the Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar in Yola, Adamawa State. The Kano State Hisbah Board has arrested two young men for allegedly trying to arrange same-sex marriage in the state. A Magistrate’s Court in Umuahia, Abia State, has sentenced a 37-year-old man, Chiemela Ekeke to life imprisonment for sexually assaulting a four-year-old girl. A gang of bandits have killed three persons including two friends in Matazu and Kankia Local Government Areas of Katsina State. A man identified as Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi, also known as Solo, was shot dead by the gunmen in Kankia on Saturday night. Spokesman of the State Police Command, ASP Abubakar Aliyu, said the incident took place around 8:40 pm in a low-cost residential estate near the Kankia General Hospital. An unknown woman has reportedly stolen a six-month-old baby boy, Chinedu Chukwueke, from his mother’s shop at Kure Market in Minna, the Niger state capital.
